Taking a look at his stats in Arrowhead one can clearly see a huge peak for Manning two years ago, the very year they went to the Super Bowl. Yet, this is not the Manning team of old. After the firing of John Fox and the seemingly rehiring of everyone on John Elway’s Super Bowl-winning team, the Broncos are very much different from the years past.

This fact is evident by the Baltimore Ravens game last week, which saw the once potent offense not score a single touchdown, and only make it into the red zone in the fourth quarter.

Manning was 24-of-40 passing with 179 yards zero touchdowns and one interceptions, with a rating of, ouch, 50.9. Manning is showing his age, and it is evident by these stats.

Beyond these stats, this is also a different offense that he has been apart of. Denver wants to beat you with its defense now it would seem, instead of the offensive fireworks show they used to put on every week.

So, all this begs the burning question, will Manning be the same guy who torched the Chiefs in 2013, or the man who did just barely enough to win last year?

Arrowhead Stadium has been both mean and kind to him. It also has to be mentioned that this game is going to be more hostile for Denver than in the few years past. This is the home opener for the team, a day that is already pumped up by the fans and the entire city. But, this is also a primetime game for K.C., and you can be sure the noise will be so loud, they may break their own record for loudest stadium.

This is a new year for the Kansas City Chiefs, and as such many have them beating out Denver for the AFC West crown. If the Chiefs want to live up the hype that so many people are giving to them, it must start with Peyton, and handing him his first Denver loss at Arrowhead.

There you have it, Addicts. Do you think Manning will finally fall this year to the Chiefs in Arrowhead? What are your predictions for the game? Let us know in the comments.
