The underwhelming conclusion of the preseason is over and done with. The crazy cutting down of the roster is in place, and finally we get to look ahead to real football.

Yes, that’s right. Football is back, and for once, it is a positive time to be a Kansas City Chiefs fan. This is the first September in a long time where the expectation in Chiefs Kingdom is to at least make the playoffs, perhaps win a divisional title, and maybe, just maybe, win a playoff game; one which has been 22 years in the making.

Optimism is high. Something that is reflected in the many predictions that are currently being made for every franchise and player imaginable. Well, seeming as though every man and his dog is offering their opinion, I may as well join the hastily foolish cast who aims to aimlessly guess (sorry, calculate with great precision) the successes and failures of the coming season.

Rather than simply evaluate each game individually, I thought it’d be interesting to see how many and which games Reid and Dorsey’s Chiefs will loose.
