10. Jamaal Charles

Charles is one of those rare players who is so great, you know not to take him for granted while you are watching him. The statistics are eye-popping and yet somehow don’t do the man justice. Charles is already the Chiefs’ all-time leading rusher and will likely finish with a total that will not be eclipsed any time soon.

Charles accrued five seasons of more than 1,000 rushing yards including a career high of 1,509 in 2012. Charles mostly played behind bad offensive lines and alongside no decent receivers, yet somehow continues to dance his way toward the fringes of the Hall of Fame conversation. Charles has a yards per carry average of 5.4 for his career, far and away the best of all-time for a qualifying running back.

The Texas native is unquestionably one of the great all-purpose backs, racking up 7,561 rushing and 2,591 receiving yards with 64 combined touchdowns.

One more amazing stat: Charles has never had a season of 70+ rushing attempts in which he rushed for less than 5.0 yards per carry.
