14. Derrick Johnson
Johnson has finished his career with Kansas City, and it was an outstanding one. Johnson is set to break the franchise record for tackles and has plenty of accolades under his belt including four Pro Bowl bids and a First-Team All-Pro designation in 2011.
Before sustaining a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1 of 2014, Johnson had made the Top 100 NFL Players list on NFL Network each of the previous seasons. Johnson was the heart and soul of Kansas City’s defense for close to a decade, racking up five 100-tackle seasons, 27.5 sacks, 14 interceptions and 22 forced fumbles in his career.
13. Tamba Hali
Drafted with the 20th-overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, Hali was a force of nature off the edge. Hali began his career as a 4-3 defensive end but switched to a 3-4 outside linebacker in 2009 and really saw his career take off. Hali registered a then career-high 8.5 sacks that year before leading the AFC in sacks with 14.5 in 2010.
Hali finished up with 89.5 sacks, the second-most in Chiefs history behind Derrick Thomas. Hali is a five-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, and is known as one of the best hand-fighters at the line in league history. Hali might not make it into the Hall of Fame, but he will certainly be revered in Kansas City for generations to come.
