Chiefs camp: Albert Wilson, Mike Catapano leave practice

The Kansas City Chiefs would probably like to move on from Tuesday’s practice at training camp. While nothing devastating seems to have taken place, the team had to watch Jeremy Maclin sit in the medical tent with a strained neck for the second straight day while Albert Wilson and Mike Catapano left the field worse than when they arrived.

Wilson walked off the field early due to an illness while Catapano has sustained a groin injury, per Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star. It is unclear whether or not the injury is serious, although the alarm bells are not going off in St. Joseph, Mo. Wilson would figure to be day-to-day while Catapano has to be considered questionable for Saturday’s preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals.

Before we go any further, the Eric Berry update:

Offensive line movement? Nope, no offensive line movement. Once again, the first-string line from left to right was Eric Fisher, Ben Grubbs, Mitch Morse, Zach Fulton and Jeff Allen. If this continues to be the line and Derek Sherrod proves to be a decent swing tackle, do the Chiefs either cut or trade Donald Stephenson? Stephenson is in the last year of his deal and if he doesn’t start, what are the chances he returns? Then again, Sherrod is falling down the depth chart …

Also, what does Morse starting say about the center position? Is Eric Kush simply not getting the job done or is Morse just playing like a veteran?

 Tweets, tweets, tweets …

The Chiefs will be back at practice on Wednesdat before taking a pair of days off in preparation for their game against the Cardinals.
