Good help can be hard to find.
Unless you are the Kansas City Chiefs.
The team has just recently signed an undrafted free agent RB out of Central Missouri after the Kansas City area native sent a tweet to the official Chiefs account asking to be given a look.
His name is LaVance Taylor.
Taylor didn’t just message the Chiefs. He sent his highlight reel to multiple NFL teams. It seems as though whoever is running the KC Chiefs account sent Taylor’s tape over to the scouting department and GM John Dorsey decided to pull the trigger on giving Taylor a shot.

This is just an awesome story.
While Taylor may be a long shot to make the Chiefs roster, he has at least given himself a chance and that is all a young man in his position can ask for.
The tape, while obviously only full of highlights, shows some encouraging signs. Taylor flashes extremely nice speed, acceleration and burst. He’s small for an NFL RB but sports some decent hands and kick returning ability. We know the Chiefs love players that can fill multiple roles and Taylor certainly fits that mold.
Every training camp usually features and underdog to root for. Looks like LaVance Taylor is this year’s favorite.
Good luck, kid! We’re all pulling for you.
