The main jobs here are pretty much set in stone. Dustin Colquitt is going to be the punter, mostly because he is awesome. The kicker will be second-year man Cairo Santos after stealing the job away from Ryan Succop in camp last year. The main competition will be at long snapper with Andrew East and James Winchester fighting to replace Thomas Gafford.

The returners are going to be Knile Davis on kickoffs and De’Anthony Thomas on punts. Thomas is ridiculously electric, so the chances of him being taken off the field here to avoid injury are slim and none. Meanwhile, Davis has proven he can return kicks, scoring on a return last year against the St. Louis Rams. There will be a few other players competing for spots, including Chris Conley and Albert Wilson.

With special teams coordinator Dave Toub running the show, this is going to be a strong unit. Colquitt is one of the best punters of the last 20 years, Santos had a very strong rookie season, and the returners have speed to burn. This should be one of the best special teams groups of the NFL.
