The Kansas City Chiefs have a major problem on their hands already. Nose tackle Dontari Poe is going to miss all of training camp and likely some games after suffering a herniated disc during the offseason program. Poe had the surgery on July 15 and now begins his rehab, according to multiple reports.
Reid says Poe's back problems started in OTAs.

Poe will be in meetings all camp long and will be rehabilitating. Andy Reid said Jaye Howard will take reps there for the time being.

This is devastating if Poe is out for any length of time. The Chiefs can likely get by for a few weeks without Poe, but losing him for a month, or more, would probably spell doom. Poe eats up double-teams and forces the opposing offensive line to block Justin Houston and Tamba Hali with one man. Now, teams can kick out and block in an entirely different fashion.
