San Diego Chargers:  Team owner Dean Spanos kept the power and influence of the front office in the family by promoting his sons, AG Spanos and John Spanos, to presidents within the organization. Both AG and John have been influential since becoming a part of the organization, with John having handled the hiring of the current general manager Tom Telescoe and head coach Mike McCoy. The Chargers also signed offensive tackle Joe Barksdale.

San Francisco 49ers:  The 49ers lost yet another star this offseason as veteran defensive end Justin Smith decided to retire. Only three players remain from the vaunted San Francisco defense that played in the Super Bowl following the 2012 season.

Seattle Seahawks:  Defensive lineman Jesse Williams was recently diagnosed with cancer and will have kidney surgery in an attempt to remove the malignant tumor from his body.

So that’s it for this week, Chiefs fans.  Be sure to check in every Friday morning to get your recap on NFL news here at Arrowhead Addict.
