The Kansas City Chiefs were busy yesterday, with general manager John Dorsey putting pen to paper for 16 fresh faces. Chiefs come to terms with six draft picks – Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star
"Center Mitch Morse, inside linebacker Ramik Wilson, inside linebacker D.J. Alexander and defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches have agreed to contracts, sources told The Star on Monday. Also signing contracts were tight end James O’Shaughnessy and receiver Da’Ron Brown, according to the NFL’s transaction report."
Kansas City signs 10 undrafted rookie free-agents – Joel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride
"The NFL’s official transaction wire for Monday lists 10 undrafted free agent signings for the Kansas City Chiefs. These are players who, as you could guess, went undrafted in last week’s NFL Draft. Many of them will be a long shot but a couple of them usually stick each year, including WR Albert Wilson last year."
NFL, Chiefs get ripped by U.S. Senator for National Guard sponsorship – Darren Rovell of ESPN.com
"Breitenfeldt said the National Guard spent $3.1 million on NFL team sponsorships in fiscal 2013, $2.4 million in fiscal 2014 and $1.2 million on the 10 teams it is sponsoring in fiscal 2015, a deal which ends at the end of September."
