I admit it, after the draft I had to Google some of the players the Kansas City Chiefs drafted in 2015.

I was saddened that the Chiefs did not select wide receiver Tyler Lockett from Kansas State, but ecstatic at the draft of Chris Conley, the Georgia wide receiver with blazing speed. They were able to address their offensive line with Missouri lineman Mitch Morse, who has experience across the line. They also drafted two linebackers in Ramik Wilson and DJ Alexander who should be able to help in the run defense, which is something the Chiefs desperately need to improve upon.

The Chiefs’ draft, on paper, looks successful, and with the staff of eager coaches ready to roll out the red carpet for the new players and get to work, the Chiefs look poised to make 2015 a successful season. Even with all the additions and the future undrafted free agents, will the Chiefs have the keys in place to finally take out reigning AFC West champs Denver Broncos?
