The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the 2015 NFL Draft, and are helping to get fans excited with a city-wide scavenger hunt, according to FOX4 in Kansas City. The team has taken their new draft hats and hidden them in various spots around the town, giving clues throughout the day on social media.
"UPDATE: We have given away all of the hats for this location! #FitForAKingdom continues! We just arrived at location number three! No geotag on this one… You know the spot. Password: Travis Kelce"
The hunt started at 8 a.m. CST on Wednesday and will keep going until the last hat is put on a head. The Chiefs are telling fans to follow them on a variety of social media accounts, including Instagram at @KCChiefs, Twitter with the hashtag #Fitforakingdom and Snapchat at OfficialChiefs. You can also go to the website Fitforakingdom.com for clues.
This is a very creative idea by Kansas City. The fans have always been one of the best fan bases in the NFL, and getting a scavenger hunt going will only intensify the interest. With the team coming off two consecutive winning seasons, the Chiefs are generating plenty of buzz. Free agency continued the momentum with the signing of Jeremy Maclin and the trade for Ben Grubbs.

Niner Noise
Of course, the Kansas City Royals are also getting plenty of attention these days after making the World Series last year, followed up by a bench-clearing brawl against the Chicago White Sox last week.
