Chiefs schedule: Which game excites you most?

On Tuesday, we got the Kansas City Chiefs schedule. We found out that the Chiefs will begin the 2015 campaign against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium, and close the season at Arrowhead Stadium against the hated Oakland Raiders. In between, we have plenty to digest.

The Chiefs play four nationally televised games, including Week 2 at home against the Denver Broncos, Week 3 on Monday Night Football versus the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, Week 8 in London against the Detroit Lions and Week 11 at Qualcomm Stadium versus the San Diego Chargers. All promise to be good games, with each giving us something different.

The Denver game is Kansas City’s home opener and a Thursday Night Football contest. Any time the Broncos come to town, it’s a major date. The following week, the Chiefs go to Green Bay for the first time since 2003. The Packers are almost unbeatable at home, not having lost there since the 2013 Wild Card game against the San Francisco 49ers.

When the Lions and Chiefs square off, it will mark the first time Kansas City plays a regular-season game outside of the United States. While many fans are upset the Chiefs will lose a home game, it is a unique experience. Finally, playing San Diego under the lights is always fun.

So, which game gets you the most excited? Is it one of the nationally televised games or a different contest? Maybe you have personal ties to an opponent?

For me, I’m most excited for the Week 2 matchup. The Broncos are a huge rivalry, and there is nothing like opening Arrowhead under the lights. I could do without the game being on Thursday (those games tend to be poorly played), but it remains a great game nonetheless. If Kansas City is going to win the AFC West, this is a huge opportunity to get started right.
