Week 11: San Diego Chargers

This will be a test. The Chiefs visit the Chargers after taking on the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field the week prior. San Diego should be in the playoff mix, something that will keep it amply motivated to pay Kansas City back for beating it twice in 2015.

The Chiefs are a better team than the Chargers, but it won’t be a walk in the park. Games within the AFC West are always hard on Kansas City, not to mention it is a road game in primetime. San Diego has the talent to beat any team on any given day, and will certainly be charged up with a national audience taking in the happenings.

The Chargers struggled badly to stop the run last year, something Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis need to take advantage of. San Diego has a poor front seven outside of Corey Liuget, so running consistently should be the order of the day. Charles had a big game last year against the Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium, when he became the franchise’s all-time rushing leader.
