How many 2015 primetime games will the Chiefs have?

In a few weeks, the NFL will release the regular season schedule. While we already know the teams that the Kansas City Chiefs will be playing, it is fun to see where the potential rough spots and get-right games are.

Usually, the NFL will provide the schedule a few weeks before the draft with a huge reveal show on both ESPN and NFL Network. It is incredible that the league actually has shows for this which pull in big ratings. Remember when you found out the team’s schedule in a preview magazine or the newspaper?

Anyway, back to 2015. The only thing we know for certain about Kansas City’s schedule is that it will host the Detroit Lions on Nov. 1 at Wembley Stadium in London, England. This also means the Chiefs will have a BYE during Week 9, giving them the perfect balance of games before and after.

So of the other 15 games, how many will be played in primetime? In case you have forgotten, here are the opponents for Kansas City:

Home: Broncos, Chargers, Raiders, Lions, Bears, Bills, Browns, Steelers
Road: Broncos, Chargers, Raiders, Vikings, Packers, Texans, Bengals, Ravens

My guess is a Thursday Night Football game against the Chargers, with the Broncos at Arrowhead being a Monday night affair. I also believe the Chiefs will get a Sunday night contest when they host Pittsburgh.

Which games do you think Kansas City will be playing under the lights?
