Between Husain Abdullah, Kurt Coleman, and Quintin Demps, he’s been able to bring in productive players on modest contracts. Despite their FA fortune at safety, they may be going back to the well come March with Sanders Commings lack of durability and Eric Berry’s cancer diagnosis. Stevie Brown should be an inexpensive option at free safety. He’s had injury issues in the past, but where he’s been healthy, he’s been reliable. His best year as a pro was in 2012. Brown picked off eight passes, defended 11, and forced two fumbles (posting a PFF grade of +4.5 on the year).

His lack of starting experience may be some cause for concern, but he took advantage of the opportunities he was given in 2014.
