#5 A healthy MLB Derrick Johnson

It was painful watching the Chiefs run defense this year, not only because it cost the team games, but because such a thing would have been unthinkable if the unstoppable DJ was still on the field. Achilles’ injuries are tough to recover from, especially for a player in the later stages of his career, but I sincerely hope DJ can make a full recovery.

The fact that he was injured in Week 1 was horrible news for 2014, but great news for 2015, since he’ll have that much more recovery time before the pads come on.

Either way, this defense just doesn’t look or feel the same with #56 D. Johnson in red.

That’s it! That’s the extent of my rather modest Christmas list. I hope all you Addicts are having a great holiday season, whichever holiday you participate in the most, and that you’ll all be cheering the Chiefs to the end of the season (which will probably be at 3:30 p.m. Central Time Sunday).
