Kansas City Chiefs Christmas Gifts

As I write this, many Chiefs fans are still reeling from another sub-par performance in a big game. It is an all too familiar feeling by now, and frankly, one that has gotten pretty old.

The Chiefs could still make the playoffs, but it is only a “mathematical possibility.” Every time I hear that term it makes me think that playing on wild card weekend would somehow be less than honest. Like if your accountant said he could save you money, but only through some “creative accounting.”

Don’t get me wrong, I am still pulling hard for a playoff appearance to happen, and will be very excited if it does. But right now it feels like our Chiefs are destined to leave us with another lump of coal at the end of the season. And I am not OK with that being the only feeling I have for the Chiefs during the week of Christmas.

So, in the spirit of joy and thankfulness, let’s take a look at some of the gifts the Chiefs have given us over the course of this season.
