Inactives: Larry Fitzgerald Will Play For Cardinals

Larry Fitzgerald, who was listed as questionable for today’s game, will play for the Cardinals this afternoon according to the inactives list. Fitzgerald had been dealing with an MCL injury.

In 10 games this season, Fitzgerald has caught 46 passes for 658 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn’t caught a touchdown pass since week eight against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Getting Fitzgerald back is a pretty big deal for a Cardinals team that is incredibly banged up. Andre Ellington, the Cardinals starting running back and only real rushing threat, is out today with a hip injury. Guard Paul Fanaika is out with a ankle injury, safety Tyrann Mathieu is out with a thumb injury, and defensive end Ed Stinson is out with a toe injury.

And that paragraph doesn’t include Carson Palmer, John Abraham, and Darnell Dockett being on injured reserve.

The rest of Arizona’s inactives include: Alameda Ta’Amu, Anthony Steen, Kareem Martin.

As for the Chiefs, they’ll be without Junior Hemingway and Allen Bailey due to concussions. Other than those two, all of the Chiefs’ listed injured players are available for the Chiefs today. This means the inactive list is pretty basic beyond the inclusion of Hemingway and Bailey.

Those names: Aaron Murray, Eric Kush, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Jamell Fleming, Richard Gordon.
