Reason 7: The Chiefs Are Battle-Tested

Last season the Chiefs feasted on backup quarterbacks and a soft schedule. This year the Chiefs are more battle-tested and have a more impressive resume of wins. Of the Chiefs’ seven wins thus far, five of them have come against teams that currently have a .500 record or better and include wins against the defending Super Bowl champs and the team that currently has the best record in the AFC. Even one of the teams they beat with a losing record (the Rams) have knocked off multiple playoff-caliber teams (like Denver on Sunday).

The Chiefs have found ways to win close games. They have held onto leads late in games. They have come back from behind in the fourth quarter. Finally, unlike last season when many of their wins came against QBs like Jason Campbell, Terrelle Pryor, Case Keenum and Jeff Tuel, this season they already have wins against Tom Brady, Philip Rivers and Russell Wilson. This team is already battle-tested and it will serve them well WHEN they make the playoffs. That is a MAJOR reason to believe in this team going forward.

So there you have it, Addicts, seven reasons to believe in the 2014 Kansas City Chiefs. What do you think? Are you a believer? Do you agree with these reasons? Did I leave any reasons out? Are there doubts that you still have about this team that I am overlooking? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

As always, thanks for reading and GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!
