Andy Reid:

As much as I love having Andy Reid as a coach instead of Romeo Crennel. I believe that Reid has been part of the reason why the Chiefs are (4-3) instead of (6-1). I think that loss to the Broncos was just a good game, anybody could have come out on top when it came down to it. The other two games however I believe the Chiefs should have won.

The loss week one against the Titans was honestly just sloppy coaching from my point of view. The team came into that game and looked completely unprepared. The defense looked loose and they couldn’t even stop Dexter McCluster from running the ball while the Offense just couldn’t get anything going. The Chiefs also had a big coaching blunder which cost us the game against San Francisco where we had a 12 men on the field penalty in the 4th quarter to go along with our other three penalties in that game.

I think Reid did a bad job getting the team ready for the start of the season. I also went back and looked at the Chiefs third down situations in those two games and

not once did the Chiefs have a designed running play on third down

not once did the Chiefs have a designed running play on third down. Now I can understand not wanting to run the ball on third and long but if it’s third and short which the Chiefs had 12/23  times they were on third down in those two games, then at least six of those twelve times i’m gonna give the ball to Jamaal Charles or Knile Davis.

We’ve seen this all season however that when Reid doesn’t feed the ball to the running-backs the offense struggles. A key to the Chiefs winning not only this week but every other week this season is going to be that Reid continues to feed the ball to Charles and company.
