Kansas City Chiefs: Halftime Notes And Statistics For Week 8
By Brett Gering

After a sluggish start, the Kansas City Chiefs will exit the locker room with a 10-7 lead over the St. Louis Rams.
A few notes:
- Kansas City’s offensive line is blocking Robert Quinn like groupies block Bieber. The defensive end strung together two consecutive sacks to thwart a once-promising drive at the end of the half.
- Despite said
floodgateoffensive line, Alex Smith is 14-of-15 passing for 111 yards, and the one incompletion stemmed from a drop by Travis Kelce on third down. - No. 87 compensated for it with four receptions for 47 yards. Dwayne Bowe also chipped in 33 yards on three grabs.
- After a face-palming first drive, Kansas City’s defense clamped down. Justin Houston has routinely hounded Austin Davis, who was only 5-of-7 passing for 68 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
