Week 8 vs St. Louis Rams

The Rams came up with a huge victory against Super Bowl Champions Seattle Seahawks. The Rams, who have been struggling on the season since they lost their starting quarterback, are coming into Kansas City hoping to steal a victory away from the Chiefs.

As for the game plan, Reid should keep the same strategy he used against the Chargers when the Chiefs meet the Rams this weekend. A heavy dose of the trio of playmaking backs Jamaal Charles, Knile Davis, and De’Anthony Thomas should be in order. The crowd should be a nice factor in the game as well, with the fans doing their best to help send the Rams home with a loss at Arrowhead.

Week 9 vs New York Jets

The Jets may be the having their worst season in recent history. While the Jets defense is solid, the offense is consistent, even with the newest addition of Percy Harvin.

The Jets have a solid run game, and if the Chiefs want to keep the winning streak alive, they will need to find a way to stop the run. The Chiefs will need to get the ball moving through the air as they currently rank 16th in the league, and Tom Brady just ripped them up for 3 scores on last Thursday night.

Result? The Chiefs will take this game because the Jets lack a passing game, their defense is decent but not suited to play against the Chiefs and the Arrowhead faithful. Ultimately, the Jets will notch another loss in their disappointing season.

Week 10 at Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills, keep finding ways to win and in big fashion. The Chiefs will face a diminished Bills rushing core that has been without Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller since the game against Minnesota.

What the Chiefs need to focus on is stopping Sammy Watkins who is making a case for offensive rookie of the year. Kyle Orton, who played with the Chiefs a few seasons ago, has been given another chance as the quarterback for the Bills.

Result? This will be a tough game not because of the Bills offense, but because of the Bills defense. Their defense will very much be the deciding factor as the Chiefs defense will as well. Being down two starting running backs will hurt, but if the Chiefs continue playing as they are, the team should leave Buffalo with the win.
