3.) Andy Reid doesn’t lose coming off the bye

Well, at least he almost never does.

His career record after the bye is 13-2. Given the suspensions, tough schedule and bad voodoo injury luck, I always had this game circled as the Chiefs’ get-right game. I figured they would likely struggle with their makeshift O-line and changing defensive philosophies in the absence of so many starters.

This was going to be the time that they could get all of that to finally gel. To my enthusiastic surprise, they have already pretty much figured those things out. The O-line has played admirably well the last two games and the defense looks as good as it ever has been.
