The Kansas City Chiefs are on a bye this week, which means the players had plenty of time to do whatever they wanted. So what are they doing? Watching their Truman Sports Complex neighbor roll through the playoffs.
The Royals, if you hadn’t noticed, made the playoffs for the first time in 29 years this October and they appear to be making up for lost time. In five games they have played four extra inning games, winning them all, and now find themselves with a 1-0 lead in the American League Championship Series heading into this afternoon’s game. Needless to say, the Chiefs are pumped for their friends across the street.
That's the way to stay in it. #royals

Tim Timmons strike zone is starting to get questionable at best. Walt Coleman (Chiefs v 49ers Ref) thinks he is doing a great job.

I demand, @JPosnanski, that you Roger-Angell a classic takeout on this baseball team.

I've lived in MO for 31 years. As soon as my parents could afford tickets, we went to Royals games every year. This is so awesome.
