4. Get DAT into the Game

There is no doubt that the Chiefs got a steal when they selected De’Anthony Thomas in the fourth round. Even the Niners fan that I was talking with during the game was impressed by the unique skill set he posseses.

Now, I know that he has been injured, and when your a speedster’s hamstring is sore, you are simply not going to be the player that you’re capable of being. But when he is healthy (like last Sunday), the nation sees that this kid has speed, speed and, for good measure, more speed. I was shocked that he was only involved in one play on Sunday, but I wasn’t surprised that his skills led him to his first touchdown—one of many, I hope. We have already talked about how both Davis and Charles make an amazing team. Now throw in a third speedster, and we are looking at a great combo. Reid knows what he has in DAT, and he needs to get him into the game more, especially now that he is healthy.
