Monday Night Football. Sound record. Biggest two-day stretch in Truman Sports Complex since… maybe ever. Let’s get crazy.
The Chiefs can pull themselves back to a .500 record with a big home win over the New England Patriots, a team that has struggled in their start to the season even though they are 2-1. A win means the Chiefs are back on schedule as a team that could sneak into the playoffs as a wild card team. There are still some tough games left against the Chargers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Broncos and 49ers so it will be no guarantee that the Chiefs are able to pull themselves to 9-7, but a win tonight makes that possible.
Jamaal Charles is expected to return to action tonight which should be a huge boost to the offense. De’Anthony Thomas status is still up in the air as of this writing.
Loud and Proud. Beat New England. Let’s Go Chiefs.
