Tom Brady Was Picked Off Four Times Last Time He Was At Arrowhead [Video]
By Ben Nielsen
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the NFL, but his appearances at Arrowhead Stadium have not always been pleasant. In two appearances at Arrowhead Brady has thrown four interceptions to only two touchdowns and has never thrown for more than 250 yards in a single game.
It should be noted that all four of his interceptions can in on game, the last game he and his Patriots played at Arrowhead. On November 27, 2005 Brady threw four interceptions, three of which were by Greg Wesley, in a 26-16 Chiefs victory. Larry Johnson and Dante Hall each had touchdowns, Lawrence Tynes made four field goals, and Jared Allen had a sack.
The key obviously were the four interceptions by the Chiefs. Wesley ended up with six picks that season, which is the most by a Chiefs defender in a season since 2000. In fact, only four times has a defender had six interceptions in a season since 2000 and Wesley has three of those seasons. Remember Dexter McCleon? Yeah, he has the other six interception season.
The Chiefs could use a few Brady picks to beat the Patriots on Monday. KC’s defense has yet to force a turnover through three games.
