Travis Kelce Scored A Touchdown, Did A Little Dance
By Ben Nielsen
Travis Kelce scored his first regular season touchdown of his professional career in the second quarter of the Chiefs-Dolphins game and he did not disappoint with his celebration.
Behold the Vine of Kelce’s touchdown dance.
We are told this little jib is called the “Shmoney Dance.”
I would say I don’t know what the Shmoney Dance is but I just saw Travis Kelce do it. However, in my heart and soul I know that I do not truly know what the Shmoney Dance is.
Kelce scored his touchdown near the end of the second half on a nice catch and run from 20 yards out. His speed made the play as the defensive back did not anticipate Kelce’s quickness and took a terrible angle. The result was Kelce having the angle to dive for the pylon to score the touchdown. And the touchdown gave us this wonderful touchdown celebration.
I would say Kelce scores higher than this Brian Hartline touchdown celebration, but I’m incredibly biased in this analysis.
