Jamaal Charles Injures Ankle

Jamaal Charles has left the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos with an apparent ankle injury. The Chiefs list his as questionable to return.

Charles limped off the field after it appeared he got his ankled rolled up on by his own lineman during a tackle. He was taken to the sideline where they cut the tape from his ankle and examined him.

The report from the sideline on CBS suggested they were looking at his achilles area during the examination before they decided to take Charles back to the locker room.

Kansas City has already dealt with enough injuries this season, especially the achilles version. Derrick Johnson and Mike DeVito each ruptured their achilles in the season opener against Tennessee. KC is also missing Jeff Allen for the season due to a torn bicep.

Knile Davis will be taking over as the primary back while Charles is sidelined. We’ll update the Charles situation as soon as there is more information to give you.
