Jamaal Charles and Eric Berry have been ruled out for the second half of the Denver Broncos game.
Charles left in the first half with an injured ankle. We do not know the severity of the injury but there was some speculation there was some problems with his achilles. Knile Davis has been filling in for him as the primary running back.
Berry is out with an aggravation of his heel injury that kept him out for the entire preseason. We knew it would an issue throughout the season but when you add it with all of the Chiefs other injuries it compounds the issue. Ron Parker has taken Berry’s spot at safety.
The Chiefs will be without projected starters Joe Mays, Derrick Johnson, Mike DeVito, Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles, Donald Stephenson, and Jeff Allen for the second half of the Broncos game. De’Anthony Thomas, another player expected to contribute to the offense, is out as well
We could use a decent bounce or two in the injury department at this juncture, no?
