QUESTIONABLE
Eric Kush (Shoulder)
Marcus Cooper (Ankle)
Kush was limited in practice again today after being limited yesterday and out completely on Wednesday. His questionable status would seem to indicate there is a 50/50 chance he would be able to go on Sunday if the Chiefs decided to activate him.
Cooper’s injury is the most concerning, and today’s questionable tag is actually and upgrade from what we were expecting yesterday after he did not participate in practice. The questionable ruling comes today after he was limited in practice, which would suggest there was some improvement with his ankle since he injured it on Wednesday.
It goes without saying the Chiefs need Cooper to play Sunday. The idea of Ron Parker and Sean Smith starting with Phillip Gaines coming off the bench is not a positive one at present. Getting Cooper on the field with Berry would do a lot to solidify the back end of the defense and put the Chiefs in a good spot to win on Sunday.
