It is now or never for Bray when it comes to the Chiefs. One would imagine he makes the 53-man roster this weekend if only because the Chiefs may be holding out for a potential trade, but the thought that the Chiefs will carry four quarterbacks once week one roles arounds seems unlikely. This probably means Bray is working for a spot on the practice squad.
Last week Bray averaged just 5.7 yards per attempt and threw an awful interception to start his night. It is all about decision making with Bray and if he still cannot make the right reads and calls at this stage then when can we expect him to do so?
It is anticipated Bray will get about a quarter and a half or two quarters to show what he has learned over the last year. Andy Reid has said he is one of the most improved players on the offense from last year to this year but that may not be enough to keep him around for another season. Unless he has a great night tonight it is hard to see him anywhere else but the practice squad two weeks from now.
