OFFENSIVE LINE

Tackle: Eric Fisher, Donald Stephenson, Ryan Harris

Guard: Jeff Allen, Zach Fulton, Jeff Linkenbach, Larry Duvernay-Tardif

Center: Rodney Hudson, Eric Kush

Cut: Otis Hudson, Ben Gottschalk, J’Marcus Webb, Ryan McKee

Practice Squad Prospects: Rishaw Johnson, Ricky Henry

Jeff Linkenbach is the new addition to the roster after his first two preseason games have been pretty solid. Linkenbach has seen almost as many snaps as the starters and has accumulated a +1.4 PFF grade in those two games. His versatility and the Chiefs lack of depth at the position gives him a good chance to make the squad.

Ryan Harris makes the team as the backup right tackle. Should something happen to Fisher than Stephenson would move to left tackle and Harris would fill in as the right tackle. Harris right now is my last offensive lineman to make the team because he doesn’t have a lot of the flexibility the Chiefs like to see in their linemen. He has performed well in the preseason games, however. He has participated in more preseason snaps than any other offensive lineman on the current roster and has accumulated a +4.1 grade which is the best on the team.

LDT makes the team because I don’t think he would clear waivers. Additionally, he has played pretty decently in his 32 total snaps. Consider that his -0.2 PFF grade over those 32 snaps (basically an average player) have been better than the 32 snaps Rishaw Johnson has participated in (-2 PFF grade). The Chiefs see a future in him and I don’t think they would risk the possibility of losing him to waivers at this stage of the game.
