Game two of the Chiefs preseason is about to kickoff on FOX. If you need more information about live streaming TV and Radio then look no further than the hyperlink.
The Chiefs are expected to be without Eric Berry and Jamaal Charles tonight so we should see a lot of Daniel Sorensen, Knile Davis and De’Anthony Thomas with the first team. This may be a blessing in disguise as the Chiefs need to keep Berry and Charles as healthy as possible and we need to see more of what Sorensen and Thomas can do with the first team units.
Andy Reid said earlier in the week he expects Alex Smith to play the entire first half which should mean most of the first team should be playing as well. Because he’ll be playing a full half that may mean we get a chance to see players like Travis Kelce get some reps with the first team offense. Kelce had a big game in the preseason opener with the second team offense and has continued his success through practice. It would be fun to see him run with the first team and see how he holds up against elevated competition.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Let’s do this.
