Cut: Ricky Henry, Rishaw Johnson, Jeff Linkenbach
I have no clue what the Chiefs are going to do when it comes to putting together offensive line depth. They have plenty of options and trying to figure out which one makes the most sense is very difficult.
Right now I have LDT on the team because I don’t think he would clear waivers to end up on the Chiefs practice squad. Moving LDT out would make some room for a deserving Henry or Johnson as well as keep another tackle on the roster in Harris. But I just don’t think the Chiefs can pull that off.
Another option is to keep a ninth offensive lineman and cut from somewhere else. I have the Chiefs keeping 10 defensive backs and nine linebacker so there are some roster spots that could be moved around.
It should be noted LDT had a pretty decent first preseason game last week. PFF graded him as a +0.4 in 18 snaps. Considering the circumstances that is not a bad showing.
