Kansas City Chiefs Legend Tony Gonzalez To Guest Star In NCIS Episode

I guess I’ll be watching at least one episode of CBS’ ‘NCIS’ this fall.

Tony Gonzalez sent out a tweet and instagram photo announcing he will make an appearance on the show sometime this fall. Here’s the social media evidence.

You may or may not be stunned to learn I have never seen an episode of NCIS so whichever episode includes Gonzalez will be my first experience with the show. I’m sure it is just like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones only not like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. But who am I to judge? I’ve never seen the show before.

Gonzalez will be on CBS’ NFL Today studio show for the 2014 season, replacing Shannon Sharpe on set. Gonzalez should be much easier to listen to than the guy he is replacing, and I’m sure the female viewership of NFL Today will see a significant spike. Good for Tony.

Now if you would excuse me, I have to go figure out what NCIS is and if it has any relation to True Detective. (I’m assuming the answer is no.)
