A Few Things To Know About Chase Daniel’s Wedding
By Ben Nielsen
Yesterday was a very special day for the Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Chase Daniel as he was married to Hillary Mullin here in Kansas City.
The beauty of the internet is that we can learn some details about Daniel’s wedding thanks to a website made in the couple’s honor. Welcome to HillaryAndChase.com, named for Chase and his soon to be wife Hillary. Let’s explore and learn how this wonderful couple came to be.
HOW DID THEY MEET?
The website tells us Chase and Hillary met at the University of Missouri in the fall of 2007 where they became friends. They’re love hit a bump in the road when they lost touch after Chase left Missouri to enter the NFL. This must have been a terrible time.
Fortunately, the couple were re-introduced to each other in April of 2011 and started dating not too long after in January of 2012. This would be a long distance relationship, however, as Chase played for the New Orleans Saints at the time they started dating. The website tells us there were many Skype calls and plane trips to keep their relationship strong.
In the Spring of 2013 Chase signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, and the rest, we are told, is history!
HOW DID CHASE PROPOSE?
Chase proposed during a weekend trip in Kansas City. I’ll let the couple tell the brief story.
"Chase proposed on February 7, 2014 on a weekend trip from Dallas to Kansas City. The best surprise came after the proposal where he secretly arranged for both sides of the family to travel in for a celebration dinner!"
Tremendous job, Chase.
WHERE WILL THEY GET MARRIED AND WERE IS THE RECEPTION? CAN I STILL BUY THEM A GIFT?!
So many questions! You all are so nosey.
Chase and Hillary will be married today at Jacob’s Well, a church in Kansas City. The reception will move to The Urban Event in downtown Kansas City. I’ve been there for a wedding reception before and it was beautiful. Excellent choice, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel.
Good news for all of you is that you can still buy Chase and Hillary a gift from their registry. They are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Pottery Barn, and Crate & Barrel. You can go ahead and put me down for a $20 gift certificate to Steak & Shake.
