First, happy Independence Day!

Second, we are now 20 days away from the start of training camp. As a result it is time to put 2013 behind us and look forward to some of the more pressing questions the Chiefs face heading into the 2014 season.

Today we are going to focus on some of the coaching and front office issues the Chiefs will have to deal with during July and August. Last season both Andy Reid and John Dorsey came to the Chiefs with something of a year-long grace period because of the nightmare they were inheriting. With a year under their belt, an 11-win season, and a playoff appearance, expectations are now higher on the Chiefs than they were a year ago, which means the decisions Reid and Dorsey make will be under far more scrutiny.
