A couple things to consider here, starting with how far are the Chiefs away from being a legit contender? Johnson wants to win and with how tough the AFC West has become, are the Chiefs the right fit?
Official contract numbers for Phillip Gaines and De’Anthony Thomas are in. Adam Teicher has the details.
Thomas was the 124th player drafted. His contract is four years and worth $2,665,108, including a signing bonus of $420,108. Last year the Houston Texans gave the 124th pick, defensive lineman Trevardo Williams, four years, $2,492,612 and a signing bonus of $407,612.
Johnny Manziel is supposedly being sued for sexual harassment. There are already questions about the validity of the lawsuit.
