Tre Boston‘s biggest advantage is his age. A 21-year old senior, Boston is one of the younger prospects on this list which could mean a bigger ceiling for him as a prospect.

The knocks on Boston are his perceived immaturity and being classified as a tweener. Boston transitioned from being a corner to free safety but was able to boost his stock by intercepting 13 passes for North Carolina. He’s not considered a great athlete but he did have a good combine.

What may be appealing to the Chiefs is his experience at both corner and safety in addition to his age. There is room to grow as a player – including his maturity – so some of those knocks may not be as big as they are for others. Additionally he is considered a physical player and has the body type to fill out and be a durable player. He’s a project guy but could have a very nice upside.

Here’s Rang on Boston:

"Highly physical defender who attacks the line of scrimmage in run support, demonstrating aggressive hands and impressive upper body strength to take on and shed blocks, as well as impressive closing speed and the willingness to throw his body into the pile. Fluid athlete who accelerates smoothly."

CBS projects Boston as sixth round pick.
