Football things are happening (finally) and among them is the release of the 2014 NFL schedule.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk says the NFL plans to release the upcoming season’s schedule sometime either Wednesday or Thursday this week. The original target was for Tuesday but the beginning of the NBA and NHL playoffs has caused some time issues for the NFL. How insane would it be if the release of the NFL schedule overshadowed not one but two “big four” sports’ playoffs? Crazy.
We already know who the Chiefs’ opponents’ will be in addition to knowing the basic preseason schedule. The only questions still remaining are “when” and “where” will the Chiefs be playing these opponents. Specifically, “how many primetime games will the Chiefs have?” will be on the minds of many Chiefs fans.
Right now I’d put the over/under of prime time games for the Chiefs at 3.5 with Kansas City being a lock for at least one Thursday night game and one Sunday Night Football game. What do you got, Addicts?
