Based on the real life friendship of Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers who were teammates with the Chicago Bears. The made for TV Movie starred Billy Dee Williams and James Caan. The movie tugged at the hearts of the nation and can still bring tears to even the most manliest of men. It is truly one of the greatest made for tv movies and if for some reason you have not watched it highly recommend taking the time to view the 90 minute Brian’s Song, and I dare you not to choke back the tears.
