Tevin Reese
WR, Baylor
Tevin Reese may be one of the better fits for Andy Reid‘s offense, one that requires the ability to catch and run with the ball in space. Reese has 4.46 speed to go with an insane 6.63 3 cone drill. This quickness and speed matched with his 41 inch vertical and 132 broad jump (both top performances at the combine) make him one of the more athletic receivers in the draft.
He could stand to add a few pounds and there are some technical things to work out in his game. However, his athleticism and college production suggests he could create some matchup issues in favor of the Chiefs.
"Boasts freakish athleticism, including rare leaping ability. Explodes off the line. Fast and sudden. Turns over fluid stride with length and frequency. Stretches the field vertically. Tracks and adjusts to throws and displays terrific body control. Catches easily — snatches throws out of the air. Good short-area quickness. Darts upfield after the catch. Playmaking ability — averaged 19.4 yards per catch the last three seasons."
