Remember when Dwayne Bowe was arrested for allegedly possessing marijuana and speeding? Well he still hasn’t had to to court for the offense yet and it looks like it is going to be another month before he does.
I'm told #Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe’s court date has again been pushed back, this time to April. Was supposed to happen March 6.

Bowe was arrested back on November 11 and has had multiple court dates pushed back. I’m not a lawyer so I cannot tell you what this means.
Bowe could be suspended up to four games by the NFL if he is found guilty in court. He was previously suspended for four games for violating the leagues performance enhancing drug policy but the league separates the PED and substance abuse policies in the collective bargaining agreement. This is why Bowe will not suffer a stiffer penalty if he is suspended.
Coincidence or not, the Chiefs were 2-6 in their final eight games, including the playoff game, after Bowe was arrested. I blame pot and Sonic for the Chiefs second half collapse.
