How Acquired: Waiver Wire
Contract Details: Two-year, $1.2 Million
2014 Cap Hit: $645,000
Grade: A
As with Cooper and McGrath, Parker was picked up off of waivers after the final preseason cut down. As with Cooper and McGrath, he was able to come in and contribute immediately. Most notably was the Week 2 home opener at Arrowhead where he single handedly stopped a potential Tony Romo go-ahead drive by sacking the Cowboys quarterback, stripping the football away and then recovering the ball himself.
In the limited action he saw, he was graded in the positive by PFF. He ended the season with 17 tackles, one forced fumble, one sack and two interceptions. Not too shabby for a guy cut by his original team. Dorsey scored on this signing as well.
