Grading Chiefs GM John Dorsey in His First Off Season Part 1

8 of 9

Overall, Dorsey did very well with his trades as well as his in-house signings. The problem is, he’s up against a much more difficult wall this season. Perhaps he went a little overboard with some of his contracts, and thus the Chiefs are in a bit more of a predicament this year. Still, had Dorsey not signed Bowe, tagged Albert or brought Smith to Kansas City and the Chiefs would not have had the turnaround they did this past season.

Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at how Dorsey did with open market free agents as well as waiver wire acquisitions. Once we do that, we’ll give him an overall grade for the entire off season.

Thanks for reading, and GO CHIEFS!
