The Kansas City Chiefs announced they have signed former LSU Tiger Risean Broussard to a reserve/future contract.

The Chiefs initially signed Broussard as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2013 but cut him a few weeks later according to a second tweet from Paylor.

The Chiefs are bringing a ton (no pun intended) of talent at the defensive linemen positions to provide depth for their star, Dontari Poe, as well as give them some stability at the defensive end position. Tyson Jackson is slated to hit free agency this off season as is the other “Poe brother” Jerrell Powe.

Though many think the Chiefs may reach into a draft that is deep at the defensive lineman positions to fill the need, others think they are set where they are, and should just re-sign Jackson. There is another line of thought that the Chiefs should bring in another defensive tackle and move Poe over to the defensive end position. Perhaps Broussard could end up being the new DT for the Chiefs. I guess we’ll see what 2014 has to show us.

Sound off, Addicts. What camp are you in with the D Line conundrum the Chiefs are facing?
