With the 15th pick in the 2014 AA Writer’s Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select…

C.J. Mosley
ILB, Alabama

The Steelers are in need of upgrades at many  positions but those needs appear to be most pronounced on the defensive side of the ball. Taking the draft’s best ILB in the middle of the first round is almost always a safe, smart bet. In Pittsburgh’s case, this puts a key piece of their defensive puzzle in place. It also doesn’t hurt that C.J. Mosley is a run-stuffing, ball-sniffing, counter-quarterback, play-making, field general of the gridiron.
