With the third pick in the 2014 AA Writers’ Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select…

3. Jacksonville Jaguars
Teddy Bridgewater
QB, Louisville

I really believe that Gus Bradley and David Caldwell are a solid head coach and general manager combo that already have Jacksonville trending in the right direction. What they don’t have is a quarterback to build around and there isn’t a better one in the entire draft than Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater is the best pure passer in this draft and not only does he give the Jaguars a true quarterback to lead their team, but it gives them a face of the franchise that they can use to help sell tickets both in Jacksonville and for the numerous games that they will play overseas in London over the next few seasons. If Bridgewater is still on the board when the Jags pick, this is a no brainer.
